The UFLB Franchise Auction was an incredible success today as the latest sellout for UFF Sports! The 30 franchises for Ultimate Fantasy League Baseball were auctioned off for a combined $158,600 USD, with gameplay beginning on March 31, 2022 on the UFFS platform.
Between now and then, the franchises will complete their payments and unveil their branding (franchise name, logos, uniforms, social media accounts, etc) before winter meetings in January followed by prospect auctions and the one and only player draft in February and March. The results from this franchise auction also determined that draft order.
Baseball was the fourth sport launched by UFFS following ice hockey, American football, and basketball. The next sport to launch will be golf in March but the next opportunity for franchise ownership is in two weeks with the UFWJ — World Juniors hockey! With only 10 franchises available, they will be in hot demand for that UFWJ Franchise Auction on Nov. 20–21. Minimum bid $500 USD. Email acharanduk@uffsports.com to register as an eligible bidder.
Here is a recap of the UFLB Leaderboard. Congratulations again to the 30 newest franchise owners in the UFFS ecosystem and also to the UFLB admins — led by Head of Baseball Operatons Dean Millard — for hosting this very successful event!
